Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)
Aquarians are humanitarians. They find joy in helping others and fighting for a worthy cause. They are visionaries that aid in making the world a better place. Aquarians should check out Livingston County’s farmers markets. They will take pride in giving back to the community, and enjoy friendly conversation with local farmers and artists.
Aquarians should also visit Finding Roots, a store located in Downtown Howell. Here, Aquarians can support local artists and find unique pieces that will surely be conversation starters.
Pisces (February 19 – March 20)
Pisces are a gentle sign. They enjoy listening to music and being near water. Thankfully, Livingston County houses 184 lakes so this is the perfect place for a Pisces. Visit one of our three state parks for paddlesports, swimming, fishing, or beautiful lake views.
Pisces will also find peace at Vibology. Here, they can find wellness workshops that will aid in reconnecting them with their mind, body, and soul.
Aries (March 21 – April 19)
Aries are one of the most energetic and fierce signs of the zodiac. They enjoy playing sports, physical challenges, and friendly competition.
Aries need to burn off energy at the Destruction Depot Rage Room! The Rage Room is designed for people to vent their frustrations in a physically satisfying way. You will have the opportunity to pick a variety of objects to smash to let out all of your pent up energy.
Aries will also enjoy Mountain Biking in Livingston County’s 50,000 + acres of parks and 123 trails. Race a friend or fly solo, our trails will light the fire in you.
Taurus (April 20 – May 20)
The Taurus appreciates the finer things in life. The Taurus gravitates toward high-quality clothing and savory meals. They don’t expect these things for free, they are extremely hard workers. They enjoy gardening and working with their hands to create the high quality that they strive for.
A store the Taurus should try is Carriage House. At Carriage House, they can satisfy their green thumb by creating their own fairy gardens, and finding other charming treasures to make their own.
Gemini (May 21 – June 20)
Geminis are filled with child-like innocence. They are curious, quick-learners. The wheels are always turning in their heads, so they need activities that will make them use their brains.
Geminis should bring friends to Puzzled Escape in Brighton. They will enjoy the mental challenges and leave with an unforgettable adventure.
Geminis can also take their brains over to The Arcade. Here, they will feel nostalgic playing games from their childhood like Atari, Sega, Pinball, and more!
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
The Cancer is a water sign. They enjoy a good meal with friends and relaxing near bodies of water. That’s why their perfect night would be on the back patio of Stillwater Grill.
At Stillwater, they will find local and seasonal items freshly prepared and uniquely styled. Specialty menu items are the Cajun Tenderloin Tips, Prime Rib, Center Cut Sirloin, and Pork Chops along with a selection of fresh catch including Salmon, White Fish, Tilapia, and Cod.
The Signature dessert is The Gusher, a chocolate frosted brownie and French vanilla ice cream topped with rich hot fudge and whipped cream, served in a ridiculously large portion. This is why bringing friends is a must!
While the Cancer enjoys a nice night out with friends, they also tend to be frugal. Cancer’s can save some money by walking around the Brighton Mill Pond to get their water fix and enjoy the downtown sculptures that will inspire the Cancer’s inner artist.
Leo (July 23 – August 22)
Leos are bright and colorful! They are the sign of the lion and they find pride in staying modern and trendy. They have a flair for the dramatic and are usually attracted to the theater. Take your Leo friend to the Brighton Coffeehouse Theater or Howell Opera House for a show and an exciting night out on the town.
Leos will also enjoy Brighton’s newest destination, Single Barrel Social. The luxury lounge and dance floor will make the fiery Leo feel in their element.
Virgo (August 23 – September 22)
Virgos enjoy curling up with a good book. They are avid animal and nature lovers. This is why they will enjoy the Howell Nature Center. Here they can learn about wildlife, slow down for a little while, and enjoy a nature walk.
Since Virgos care so deeply for animals and nature, They should also visit The Fuel in the Green Oaks Mall. The Fuel offers plant-based meals that they will not feel guilty for eating. Try smoothie bowls or tacos with cashew sour cream, everything is guilt-free and delicious!
Libra (September 23 – October 22)
The Libra enjoys spending time outdoors. They are great listeners, but they can often become overwhelmed. This is why they should try hiking to unwind. Livingston County has 123 miles of trails available for hikers and bikers. The Libra should reconnect with nature to find peace.
Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)
Scorpios have a reputation for being one of the darker signs of the zodiac. They should embrace this by spending a day in Hell, Michigan! Rent kayaks and explore the chain of lakes, play mini-golf, or grab an ice cream cone from The Creamatory.
Scorpios are natural-born leaders, so exploring the 11,000 + acres of parks in the Pinckney Recreation Area would be their perfect activity.
Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)
Sags are the happiest sign of the zodiac! They are extroverts. Sags need to have the freedom to explore the outdoors and travel to their heart’s content. A sag would enjoy paddleboarding on Zukey Lake and sipping on drinks on the rooftop of Zukey Lake Tavern.
These social butterflies would also enjoy brewery tours in the downtown Howell – Brighton area. The exciting nightlife will bring out their most treasured traits.
Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)
The Capricorn is a true craftsman. They have strong will power, they value tradition and they take family seriously. The Capricorn would appreciate the craftsmanship at Wood ‘N Things in Brighton. They would also enjoy using their own hands to create art to share with their loved ones.
The Capricorn would also enjoy The Ceramic Studio etc… Here, they can embrace their inner artist and create meaningful art.
