Thanks for visiting Jack’s Custard and Cakes, where they’d like to think they make the best custard in Michigan – if not in the whole world! Jack’s brothers, wife and kids and numerous grandchildren have hundreds of years of combined experience eating ice cream. And they all agree it’s the best they’ve ever had.

It was in 2005 that Jack and his wife, Carol enjoyed the very best frozen custard they had ever tasted in all of their lives. The flavor that brought about the opening of JACK’S was Espresso Chip. (They still love this flavor!) He later learned that this custard was served at the White House, not at all to our surprise. Always being great lovers of fine ice cream they felt that others should be able to enjoy this fine product, too. Thus, Jack’s Custard Company, now Jack’s Custard & Cakes was formed in Brighton and their store opened in May 2006.

Almost 14 years under their belt, you might say they are still rookies, but they have years of experience tasting and being finicky customers. They now feel like veteran creamery workers as they make custard for you fresh every single day.

They’re friendly staff will welcome you, treat you well, provide you with excellent products at fair reasonable prices, and impeccable service. Why? Because they just love to see you lick your lips and smile!
