Scofield Park

Relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Scofield Park at the corner of Thompson and Barnard Streets. Whether you want to take a walk, play on the swings, picnic with family and friends, or enjoy the fun in the sun at the beach, Howell City Park is the place for you! Thompson Lake beach is the perfect place to enjoy the sun or go swimming. A valid seasonal or daily pass is needed from the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day. Passes can be picked up starting in late April and throughout the summer at the Bennett Recreation Center until Labor Day in September.

Thompson Lake also offers a Boat Launch available for use. Boat launch entry requires a valid seasonal or daily pass starting May 1st, 2018. Daily passes are available at the Bennett Recreation Center during normal office hours throughout the season and at the Howell City Park entrance or boat launch booth from May 25th weekend to Labor Day. Boat Launch is located on Roosevelt & Lake St. Parking at the boat launch is limited.

New restrooms, concessions, and a kayak launch are coming soon to Scofield Park.

Boat Launch:

Boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards can be dropped off at the Roosevelt Street boat launch located minutes from downtown Howell.

 

City of Howell residents will receive two free annual Resident Park/Boat Launch passes. Each additional annual pass will be $60
