Michigan Challenge Balloonfest – June 28-30, 2019
More than 50 hot air balloons take flight at Michigan Challenge Balloonfest, one of the premier summertime activities in Michigan since 1984. It’s packed with fun, including with skydiving and stunt kites, carnival rides, and fireworks. Stay after dark for Evening Glow, when nearly two dozen hot-air balloons inflate on and glow their envelopes against the summer night sky. Don’t miss the new addition to kids’ attractions this year, with the Imagination Playground offering building blocks to spark some creativity. Like the festival on Facebook to stay up-to-date!
Fowlerville Family Fair – July 22-27, 2019
For over 130 years, the Fowlerville Family Fair has been a 6-day event showcasing local food, produce, arts, crafts, and more. As its name suggestions, there is a ton of family fun to be had with a rodeo, llama & alpaca show and a carnival! In addition, they also offer three demolition derby style shows. Of course, any fair wouldn’t be complete without some contests, so check out the Fair Queen, Homemaker of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, and the Spelling Bee. See the full schedule here!
Brighton Wine Art Music Festival – August 2-4, 2019
Another aptly named event, the Brighton Wine Art Music Festival celebrates exactly what it suggests in downtown Brighton.
