Sometimes being on vacation is no excuse to miss a workout! If you’re in town visiting the Brighton-Howell Area and still want to get some exercise in, here are some unique options to get your sweat on away from your normal routine.
This downtown Brighton studio is an experience like no other. The gym features a stationary wall with four steps that visitors and members use for a high-intensity interval workout that focuses on gaining strength, increasing flexibility, and cardio endurance. If you want strength training that can take you to American Ninja Warrior level, look no further than Iron Grip Ninja & Obstacle Training in Howell! Their 50,000 square foot facility includes many of the obstacles that can be seen on the TV program, tailored for adults and little ninjas alike! The gym was built with safety in mind and all ages and experience levels can find something here! Next time you’re in Livingston County, pack your sense of adventure.
Hamburg Township’s Manly Bennett Park recently added an outdoor fitness experience to their grounds. Enjoy a workout on their outdoor exercise equipment while you enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Remember to stay hydrated and pack sunscreen before you head to Hamburg to enjoy the park!
Wild Wisdom offers local and destination retreats, as well as workshops that allow participants to step outside the box of the everyday norm and ignite their sense of adventure. They offer traditional programs like yoga, hiking, and kayaking, as well as unique experiential programs with our animal friends; like yoga with horses, goat yoga, hiking with horses and hiking with goats. In addition, they teach traditional archery, horseback archery, and archery tag. Through connecting with animals and traditional practices like yoga and archery we can uncover and discover our passion and joy. These programs were developed to empower and awaken individuals by moving beyond the everyday grind and tapping into the adventurous spirit within.
